The ABI offers many resources for new professionals. One great resource is ABI's Nuts and Bolts course for new practitioners which can be found at:

If you have any questions or need technical support, please contact ABI at (703) 739-0800.
This three-part, 3.5-hour program fully covers the sources of bankruptcy law, jurisdiction and venue, basic concepts such as property of estate and claims, dischargeability, avoiding powers and more. The faculty includes a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, a former ABI Resident Scholar, and a co-author of the treatise, Bankruptcy in Practice.
Those looking for publications to use as reference in their careers should check out the ABI Bookstore. Open to members and non-members alike (although members receive a discount on all publications) there are a number of titles that are geared towards new professionals. Titles — all written by ABI members — are added throughout the year, so be sure to check it out often. The bookstore is: http://www.abi.org/bookstore
A great place for new professionals to be able to network with other ABI members who are new to insolvency is ABI's Young and New Members Committee. The committee’s goal is to encourage active involvement of young bankruptcy practitioners (under 36 years of age or less than 8 years of experience). More information on how you can get involved is available at: https://www.abi.org/membership/committees/young-and-new-members
